july,2019: A
devastating flood has swiped over Kerala. The cause of the flood is heavy
rainfall which the state have not seen in 100 years. The rivers were flooded.
Local administration tried to repair the banks of rivers with wall of earth and
stones. It is reported 40lack people have been affected. Cattles and domestic
animals have been washed away. Crops have been destroyed. No death is reported
so far. Government, welfare societies and people of Kerala have started relief
work. The whole area is under water.
People have been carried on uplands or school building. Children and old
women and men were carried to safer places in boats. Dry foods, water bottles
medicines are distributed to the flood affected people. The Kerala Government
announced Rs500 cores will be given to the flood affected people. According to
the latest report the affected people are passing time in describable hardship.
