Visit to a book fair
Book fair is
a feast of books. Everyone likes to visit book fair. I have no exception of it
last week. I went Kolkata book fair with my parents. We entered the fair at
about 11p.m. Then we bought tickets. The gates and stalls were beautifully
decorated. The stalls were arranged on their side of ground. Many bookstalls
and publishers from different part of countries joined in the fair. I was
charmed to see the book and book everywhere. The fair contained various kinds
of books. There was nit compulsion of buying books. A large crowd gathered
before stalls. We moved from one stall to another stall. We bought many books.
A cultural programme was at the fair ground. I had great opportunity to meet
Shankar Ray, a great poet. He gave me an autograph on my diary. At last we
entered in to the food stall. Here we take chawmin, Pbuchka etc.
