Computer is
one of the greatest inventions of modern technology. It has become an integral
part of human life all over the world today. It was invented by the British
scientist Charles Babage. Different works can be done very easily and
accurately within a very short time through computers. Computers are used in
all offices, shops, banks. In most of the schools in West Bengal students learn
computer. We can pay bill through it. We can enjoy music and movies. Emails
have brought about a revolution in the field of communication. One may have any
information or any topic under the sky through internet. The computer has
opened many scopes for employment. In medical science the computer is working
wonders. Now doctors use computer in their operations and treatments. But
computer is not without its dark sides. Computer has given birth too many
crimes in society. Many criminals are using computers to organise crimes. Cyber
crimes are growing day by day.
However
computer has taken such a place that we cannot live without it today.
