Burdwan;10may,2019:   Robindra Jayanti was observed amidst a cultural function in Burdwan XYZ School. The function opened with an inaugural sung by the students of class IX. The headmaster of the school garlanded the patriot of the great poet. Then the students of the school presented beautiful Tagore’s songs. The school building was decorated with light and flowers. The principle gave a short but imperative speech. He told many unknown matters of the great poet. A play named “Chitrangada” was performed by the students of class XI. Melodious music and rhythm filled the entire building and the audience sat enchanted and still. The function came to an end with a closing song sung by the students of class V.
